It all starts with optimal storage conditions. But what makes a truly good humidor? Drawing on over 50 years of experience as an aficionado and more than two decades of developing high-quality cigar accessories, countless tests, myths, and insights have given rise to a completely new humidor concept: the CIGARCUBE, which respects traditional principles—and redefines them through innovative manufacturing.

Many traditional notions about humidors do not stand up to critical scrutiny. Neither heavy solid-wood constructions nor absolute airtightness nor sponge humidification systems are necessary for perfect aging. What matters most is a stable, balanced climate —reliable, constant, and evenly distributed. This is exactly where the CIGARCUBE comes in:

Functionality on every level

The interior of the front door and the upper flap is lined with solid Spanish cedar (6.5 mm). This serves as a natural aroma diffuser, moisture buffer, and pest protection. If necessary, the wood can be easily removed, sanded down, or replaced.

No hygrometer – but always within the ideal range

A hygrometer has been deliberately omitted. Instead, the CIGARCUBE® uses a reliable, natural, and cost-effective monitoring method: A tobacco leaf—e.g., the wrapper of an “Oscar the Leaf”—in the top tray and the middle drawer. As long as the leaves remain soft and flexible, the humidity is perfect. If they harden, rehumidify.

- simple and proven! For the CIGARCUBE, we deliberately chose a low-maintenance, reliable system: 320 g two-way humidifier (72%).

With open trays, sufficient spacing, and hollow divider elements—ensures that humidity reaches every area of the CIGARCUBE evenly, even when fully loaded.
